Q: What do you enjoy most about being an advisor?
A: As a Certified Financial Planner the best part about meeting with clients is helping people to identify their goals; and, putting an action plan in place to reach and/ or mold them.
Q: What’s the biggest challenge?
A: Ever notice that when you are having fun at something there just isn’t enough time in the day to do all the things you want to do. That’s me!
Q: What do you love most about being part of Plan-It?
A: The team at Plan-it Financial Corp is diverse. We have many personality types. Many great ideas; and, all are good hearted people!
Q: What qualities of yours makes you best suited to do what you do?
A: Helping people, with all kinds of stuff (not housework), brings a smile to my face; and, usually to others. It’s a feel good.
Q: How should people think about their finances?
A: Part of good planning is to identify four pots of funding in your life:
1. The basics to cover expenses to live.
2. The retirement fund to ensure you are secure, independent, and able to enjoy a good lifestyle at retirement age.
3. The emergency fund: lost jobs, unexpected expenses.
4. PLAY money. You must always plan for PLAY money!
Q: What do you love to do outside of work?
A: Besides hooking up with friends and family? I love hiking, cycling, motorcycling, pickleball, walleyball; and, reading or knitting for the quiet or rainy days.
Q: What would you be doing if you weren’t working with Plan-It?
A: I would be a motivational coach/trainer/drill Sargent for business owners.
Q: What personal accomplishment are you most proud of?
A: I recently knitted scarves for every member of my family (that would be 21!) Also made a hat for Rick (which he hasn’t worn yet!).
Q: If you could have one super power, what would it be and why?
A: Best superpower to have? TIME-TRAVEL!!! Yee haw……oooo, the fun I could have then!
