Q: What do you enjoy most about being an advisor?
A: Often having a plan gives people a sense of peace, and in some cases a good dose of much needed hope. I love being in a place where I can help people lay the stepping stones towards that path.
Q: What’s the biggest challenge?
A: It would have to be helping clients focus on their long term goals in an instant gratification society.
Q: What do you love most about being part of Plan-It?
A: Working with a team that is clearly focused on having a positive culture and serving people well is a real blessing. Also, our lunch yoga sessions are a pretty great perk!
Q: What qualities of yours makes you best suited to do what you do?
A: I’m passionate about financial wellness. I have been told I have a straightforward nature without being “too harsh” and I care deeply about helping people succeed in reaching their goals.
Q: How should people think about their finances?
A: Think about your finances like your grandparents did! Work hard, live on less than you make, save, and pay cash for your lifestyle splurges.
Q: What do you love to do outside of work?
A: Aside from spending time with family and friends, I love being outdoors and traveling. I am a country girl through and through so in the summer months you will find me at the barn training horses, on the polo field, or with my husband working on our fixer-upper farm.
Q: What would you be doing if you weren’t working with Plan-It?
A: I think I would be pursuing one of the new business ideas that roll around in my mind from time to time.
Q: What personal accomplishment are you most proud of?
A: My relationships are my most cherished accomplishments. A distant second is building my previous business and being known for quality, integrity and client relationships in that endeavor.
Q: If you could have one super power, what would it be and why?
A: To be in two places at once, it would make prioritizing my time a whole lot easier!
